The Band Mint blue thumb

The Band Mint began as a power trio on December 9, 2016 and one month later recorded their debut EP with Todd Fairall, Grammy Award Winning Mixer at Studio A. That same year they grew to a sextet for a nine date Fall Tour while holding down their day jobs. A Rock/ Hip-Hop quartet for now, they defy the very genres they seek to maintain. Their rock stylings influenced, in part, by The Grateful Dead, RHCP, and The Jimi Hendrix Experience...Their hip-hop style influenced by Erik B and Rakim, The Roots, and A Tribe Called Quest.... They headlined the inaugural Ferndale Front Porch Music Festival in 2017 and again in 2018. Their extremely dedicated fan base helped raise $1200 for The Special Olympics of Michigan at Motown Winter Blast. They performed for MOCAD to celebrate the Detroit community and opened for Kool & The Gang at River Days in Detroit. They work hard, they have fun, and they're back in the studio recording their first full length album...Stay tuned and catch them on Labor Day in Royal Oak.
